On my way back to Mount Vernon after Sunday's bus tour, I had to stop at the grave of Edgar Allan Poe. (I didn't want to hold up the tour, but I'm both an English major & a cemetery-phile, so I felt obligated.)
I was lucky enough to find the gate still open. And it looks like inflation has hit the Westminster Burying Ground; instead of pennies, visitors now leave quarters on Poe's grave.
